นอกจากแสกนแล้วยังมีข่าวลือรายละเอียดที่เพิ่มภายในภาคนี้คือ

1.กำหนดวาจำหน่ายในเดือนกันยายนนี้

2.โปเกมอนกิร่าติน่าจะเป็น โลโก้ประจำภาค สังเกตได้จากชื่อ Giratina มันตรงกับภาษา JP ชื่อภาค อ่านว่า Platina คำว่า Tina เหมือนกัน เช่นเด่วกับ2ตัวแรก Dialga PearlKia ก็ Diamond Pearl

3.จะมีการเปลี่ยนหัวหน้ายิมสุดท้าย โดยข่าวลือบอกว่าจะมีการเอาหัวหน้ายิมเหล็กภาคเก่าอย่างในทองเงินมาเป็นหัวหน้ายิมแทน แต่ยังไม่ได้รับการยืนยัน
